Anyone Hatching on the 4th?

Well, mine aren't due till Thursday, but I'm thinking I'm gonna move my quail eggs and put the millies in the hovabator. I have been having to rearrange incubators, so I don't have a hatcher ready right now. But once I move the millies, there will be enough room in that bator for the quail. It's either that or wait till tomorrow to move them, which I doubt would hurt, but I don't want to take any chances. As of yesterday, they all still looked like they were alive!

I just saw your link, we have 41 eggs due between today (Feb3) and next week. We just got 2 that have started pipping and squeeking. So, this is our first hatch.....how long does it take for them to be completly out???? I am just worried that they are stuck. They've been at it now for 9 hours with only a small hole they keep sticking their beeks out. Does this sound normal to any of you folks! We are super excited that we managed to get even 1 chick.....we set our goals low! We have a rainbow of chicks, so we can't wait to see what comes out! Help me out, I think I am more anxious than I was delivering my babies!

It's very normal. Sometimes they can take 24 hours. They pip then the rest, then work a little more then rest again. Just be patient (I have no patience

I woke up this morning to find three pips in my big hatch!

I waited a day to move mine, well half a day. I've had them hatch in the turners a day early on day 18. It really doesn't hurt them, only if they get stuck under the turner or something like that. These were chicken eggs, not quail.

Oh, by the way, I have a pip!!
