Anyone hatching with me? Set eggs 4/20

I would rather get my type back in a few of my newer clarets and a couple of my other birds first. Then MAYBE... Mainly just sell my culls, though.

This incubating stuff is addicting!! I have 2 GQF 1266's converted to 1502's and a GQF hatcher. About 200 eggs total in them right now! I'm gonna be in trouble...

I just came off a hatch and couldn't stand seeing the bator empty and my not being able to obsess over it so I stuck two of my white dove's eggs in it - I have issues.

ah....claret....a gamefowl

I had to go look it up as I had never heard that....pretty birds!!

I set 7 eggs in my Brinsea mini advance - 2 BBS LF Cochin, 2 Welsummer and 3 mixed SLW and Welsummer. Hopefully something will hatch, my first 2 tries with the Cochin rooster were no-go's and the turkey eggs I set were infertile. The welsummer rooster is a beast, so I should get something from the Welsummers and SLW eggs, the Cochin eggs, I'm not that sure of.

I set 15 variety chicken eggs ordered from ebay at 9pm on 4/19. One of the eggs is a Maran and it is HUGE-can't wait to see if it makes it! I have 6 white Silkie eggs coming and some EEs....this will be my second hatch. I hatched out a grey Silkie (4/9) and a black EE (4/11), they are so cute!! Had a homemade bator to start with....now I have a little Hovabator - much better.
Excited to see how this hatch goes!! Good luck everyone!!

I set 32 eggs on the 16th, checked fertility last night and half were no good. I'm left with half, let's see how this works out. What kind of ratios do you guys get? Thanks.

I just set 12 Silkies last night

- they're shipped eggs so hopefully I have a good hatch. If I get 4-6 I'm happy - though It'd sure be nice if all 12 hatched ! I candled before setting them, but it was hard to see if there was any air sac damage ...

The air cells are so small at this point - I think that's why it's hard to tell. I didn't see any air bubbles moving around though - like I did on the last set that I had shipped (saw two that had air moving around as I turned the egg)

But no breaks or cracks so that is good.I'll candle again in a few days to see if there is anything happening

Good Luck to you and me !
