Anyone hatching with me? Set eggs 4/20

I put 6 EE eggs under my broody Mille Fleur Belgian D'Uccle "Lady Godiva". It's her first time.

I just happened to set some chicken eggs in my bator on 4/20, not for any specific reason

(4/20 is a day where people who smoke weed do so as part of the subculture, I am not a stoner, but I know maaaaany people who were stoned out of their minds yesterday).

Hatch rates are 100% on my clarets. Never had a bad egg or quitter. My laying birds aren't as hardy, get 85-90 out of them. I won't set eggs from stock that has trouble making it out. Those get sold, for the most part... I crossed an EE roo over some of my spangled clarets, can't wait to see what I get out of them... Those are due any day now under some great hens.

looks like we've got a big hatch on our hands here guys/gals!

I set 20 duck eggs on the 19th

I set 38 eggs at 9 pm on 4/20. Then 4 this morning 4/21. I have 19 shipped bantam cross eggs and one is cracked but waxed. The other eggs are all mixed chicken eggs from my flock of pure but different breed chickens. I just hatched a bunch of them a couple of days ago and had 21 of 21 hatch. Hoping my shipped eggs do well.

Of the 15 shipped eggs I set on 4/19, I can see into 12 of them, 11 are developing! So pumped

. Also set 7 (one cracked & waxed, also shipped) white Silkie eggs 4/21, think 3 are growing, probably too early to candle but curiosity got the better of me. After the horrible hatches I had with the homemade bator, I had to check. Lovin' my little HovaBator. I can leave them until Day 18!

Just received 13 eggs from Keri78 today! Gorgeous!!! 33 eggs in the bator....2 weeks til some peeps! So addictive.

I set 12 Dominiques on 4/15, 10 Silkies on 4/20 and 12 Guineas on 4/23. 25 day olds should arrive the week of May 10. My brooder should be full if the bator does its job since all but the Guineas should hatch that week.

I'm putting up some small coops because I'd like to separate my breeds and add a rooster or two.

I set 41 eggs on 4/22... Mostly mixes of my own flock. 5 pure bred silkies though. Excited!
