Anyone have a rooster/hen weathervane on their coop - pics?

You're welcome. If I can ever stop spending money on finishing my own coop and run, I might ask them to make one. I only need a small, decorative one for my small coop.

I just need a small one for a small coop too. I just looked at measurements... those are pretty big. Did they say they could scale them down?

We had a hard time finding a weathervane that was the right size for a small (4x8) coop. In the end, we bought a Good Directions garden-size copper weathervane. It is 10" long by 11" high, and came with a roof mount and pole. It's available on a number of internet sites for about $125. Here are a couple of photos:

I'm sorry I am just now seeing this. I didn't ask them that, but was planning to if I ever order one. I'd want one about half that size or smaller. I wonder if changing the size might increase the labor and therefore the price.

Ours is a horse which is fitting since the chicken coop is technically in our horse barn. :p I don't know that it scares away the hawks though. Certainly doesn't bother any of the other birds.
