Would a kidney transplant work,We have so many people on BYC, we could make organ transplant a project for all of us.(if thats not our of line terri?) there are so many organs needed and so few offered( sorry another project of mine, along with womens abuse) both of which I have never had need of, but see so many that do. marrie

I don't know what to say, isn't that weird? The news was just rolling around in my head for the last 2 days.

alpinefarm - thank you for your advice. We're a pragmatic bunch, and understand that death will take us one day. Him being a nurse, I know he's doing the research and finding out everything he can. He won't give up. It's just the stages he's going through right now. Depression being one of them.

If it helps any when you say a little prayer you can visualize him. Anyone remember Grizzly Adams?

He looks like that. For those of you that don't remember that show, he has blue/grey eyes, reddish brown hair, a large dimple in his chin and a red beard. Sort of like a big goofy leprechaun. Always ready to smile and make you laugh. His name is Steve.

Prayers said for your brother and family. Never give up hope. My uncle, who is a diabetic and doens't see well and has had his leg amputated below the knee, was diagnosed with kidney cancer. That was a year or so ago. He is still truckin' along. Never, never give up hope. The doctors are here to guide us, but even they don't know ALL the answers!!!!!

I just read about Steve being a nurse and looking like Grizzly Adams. Now, that is quite the combination! I bet it is an unique as him! Prayers being said!
