Anyone Have A Wii??

I've had one for over 2 years and love it. Great for exercising in the winter. Have it hooked into the 56" HDTV and it is awesome. My grandkids take it over when they come and play sports, primarily tennis, on it to the point where they work up a sweat. Also they are slowly getting through the latest Zelda game. In addition, we use it to watch Netflex movies. One caution: Make sure you have plenty of room, swinging those handhelds can get violent and cause nasty injuries if someone gets hit with them. My 6'5" SIL darn near took out an overhead light playing tennis with his son.

BTW there is a new handheld coming out that is supposed to increase control--have two on order. Already have the 2nd generation with the motion sensor.

We have one for 2 years.Like the sports games. The kids have their sights on the xbox 360 with kinect.i do like the idea of not holding a remote while doing the games.Would make exercise easier and games funner.

Forgot about the fire hazard.Going to check now if we unplugged after last use.

My son was in a car accident and suffered a TBI. We initially bought ours for Wii-hab with the balance board to use with the sports and strength training. His favorite thing to do is bowling on it. I LOVE to play the golf game. The balance board is a hoot too. Love walking that tightrope too.

And of course there is the netflix. What a big plus that is!

Yes go to your online netflix account, about two thirds of the way done the account page there is a section for watching instant movies on your computer or TV. Under there is a link for using your Wii. Just follow the steps. They will also send you a dvd that you can insert in the wii to use to connect too--that's how I do it but I understand this new procedure makes it easier.
