I like the idea of being able to use it for excercise.. Any good EASY games for that.?.. (Easy cause i'll have stroke if i get too motivated..

Anything you can tell me about it?
What other kinds of games do they have?
Trivia games, like Jeopardy/millionare/family feud? Anything like that?
Are there different Wii consoles? Or do they just sell the one type?
They're on sale right now for $199..is that a decent price?
Tell me more..

We've got a Wii.

Mostly, though, I'm playing shooters on it.

But Wii Sports and Wii Fit are pretty good for exercise. I've heard that Red Steel 2 and its swordfights can give your arm a workout if you play too enthusiastically.

The boxing in Wii Sports can actually be tiring. Played a few rounds with a friend and we were sweating.

We have a Wii, that price is not bad, from what we paid. I haven't done it, but our friends have, to set it up on Internet access and watch movies from Netflix on it.

The kids here most play Wii Resort. Lot's of low/moderate level activities. Some of the local nursing homes have Wii bowling leagues --- not saying that fits your situation.

Bowling, frisbee golf are family favorites - and can get intense when everyone is warmed up and ready to play. The little buggers still haven't figured out how to plan for the wind on the golf course like dad has....

The kids also love to play the canoe race game, actually set up two chairs like they are in a canoe togther.

Two words if it gets the use like our house: rechargable batteries

My DH and I love the WII! When I get home frusterated from dealing with people who think logistics and supplies just happen (insert magic wand here) I'll get on the WII and box some poor virtual guy into the ground.

My Hubby checks his weight on it every morning; it's the most accurate scale we've ever had!

Also, for the HUGE number of games out there for it there are adapters for the regular remote. For Mario Cart there's this stearing wheel you put the remote into to play, for fishing there's an actual 'fishing rod' setup and Zenda actually has one that adapts the controler and the secondary piece into the crossbow.

An awesome system. Just don't forget to loop the tie thing around your wrist. I guess they had some issues with remotes slipping out of people's hands and flying into the TV...

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! It is also capable of accessing your wireless internet so if you have Netflix you can watch TONS of stuff right away!

Best Christmas present I have gotten so far....................

Cool! I'm getting one!

Hubby will love the fishing rod thing too!

We love our wii!!! we use it for netflix. much much cheaper than using blockbuster or even redbox for the amount of movies we watch. we don't play a lot of games but then again we don't feel like spending 50 bucks on a mario game that we think we would like.

So.. how does this netflix thing work?? Do i have to hook the Wii up to my computer or something? How does the Wii..get the netflix movies on it?
