anyone have cats?

Oh, he looks soooo much like my Tuxedo, who we lost 2 years ago to cancer in his nasal passages! He was 15 and was my baby for many years. I looked at that picture and the tears started again. Still miss him.

We currently have 5, one just brought home from the shelter yesterday. I'll get pictures posted later.

Wow...LOVE the cats that Spectrum Ranch has...
Great pics of everyone's cats.
This isn't a recent shot of mine, but I swear I catch her in the strangest positions!

I guess I should share pictures of my adopted flame point meezer. I couldn't ask for a more wonderful cat. She gives me a reason to face each day even when it seems like everything is working against me. She is talkative, love everyone and everything, and the best cuddler. And she is definitely velcroed to me, she is my shadow where ever I go. She is five years old, and I've had her a year.

These are my kitties (top to bottom) Federick, Skylar and Cowboy. This winter was miserable and the cats and chickens shared my feed room. The coop I'd moved the chickens too just wasn't keeping the snow out, and they couldn't stay in the shed with the goats since we were waiting on the nannies to kid and chicken poo in the goat hay makes for unhappy nannies!

I figured I'd rather clean chicken poo out of my feed room than lose one to the cold... so the cats had to endure the company. They all got along fine. None seemed thrilled about the ducks dirtying the water bowl though! This pic was taken after I'd refilled with fresh water. It's a heated bowl, but we'd lost power and it froze up. Everyone wanted a clean drink before the ducks got to it! lol After they all got a big drink, I dumped the water back out, chiseled out the frozen duck poo then filled with clean water AGAIN.

I love cats!
I used to have 6 cats. 3 cats ( no breed) and 3 maine coons, but because I got divorced I had to rehome 4 of them and 2 coons stayed with my ex.....

It still hurts me to be honest but I can't keep cat's here .....

So come on show me the pictures as well

Since I last posted my pics, I only had two cats. Athena, my beloved Tuxedo passed away shortly after my first post.

And now I have two "rescues" that I got off CL. Some guy was going to THROW THEM AWAY!!!! They were starving and covered in fleas. When I gave them a bath to get rid of the fleas, the water was RED

Venus is the grey and white one, Sheba is the black and white one. They will soon be 8 months old. I

them to death already. They are both females, and are littermates. I think they might have some Maine Coon in them, 'cause the hair in their ears is SUPER long, and they also have long fur. They don't have the "tufts" at the top of their ears though. That's why I think they are only "part" MC. They also have really bushy tails.
In the one pic where they are standing side by side, you can see that their opposite paws are colored and plain. Funny thing, Venus uses her left paw all the time, and Sheba uses her right

Not a dull moment in THIS house!

Moon Pie is a girl (although she's now fixed, so I guess she's none of the above now).

More Moon Pie

I'm not exactly sure where the name came from. She is awfully sweet and gooey.

Her patterning also looks like a lighting shadow pattern called Moonscape. It's possible that's part of it. She's a nut though and an awesome cat. I had no intention of having another cat, but it was clear that she was meant to stay here.
