We have only one cat right now,.. Her name is Minue.....she is a pound kitty and she was born with a stub of a tail,..about 5 inches long,.. she has turned out to be a great kitty and truly sweet when she isn't killing something! She has dragged in everything she could kill through the cat door,. birds, frogs, lizards mice, voles, crawfish and assorted creepy crawlies. We thought the worst was when my DD called for me to turn on the light in the bathroom in the middle of the night because she felt something on the floor and didn't want to move another step,.. it was a decapitated bird!
But when I caught her trying to drag a poor speckled king snake in through the door! (It was cold and could barley move,.) thats' the day she lost cat door privileges!
Before I had chickens or dogs or goats or ducks or anything, even kids, I was a Crazy Cat Lady. I am down to 11 cats now. Yes, crazy. But I love their soft and furry little selves. Most of mine are rescues. Except for 3 that are babies of a rescue. I am 62 now and I do not want to leave any animals when something happens to me, so I am not allowing myself any new kittens. And lately I have been having kitten longings. Looking at pics of kittens is not good for me and my 12 step cat program. But I do so very love kittens and their antics. So, anyhoo, will post some shots when I can. My cats are all almost all Tabbies. I just lost my beautiful long haired white blue eyed boyfriend who know me thru and thru. He left a hole in my life even with the other cats. Gosh we can go on about our animals, can't we? I am so happy to have found this site and have the silent companionship of other people who love animals too.
Put me down as a cat lover.

OMG!! I have a cat that started her life as Dust Bunny!LOL She is no 16 and I got her as a ferel kitten. I worked at an office that was next to an appartment complex and people were always dumping their cats. Anyways, the girls in the office tried to trap a momma cat and her kittens and only got the kittens. There were three, a black one, an orange tabby and this gray one. No one in the office wanted the gray one since she was plain so I took her. The kittens were tiny and mine was the smallest. She fit in the palm of one hand with room to spare. We had to bottle feed her. She could not climb the stairs since she couldn't reach them and I had to turn a gift box for shirts into a littler box so she could climb into it. She teetered when she walked and looked like a dust bunny caught in a draft. So she bacame Dust Bunny or DB. After a few weeks of this my older brother said that really the name was longer then she was and that she really didn't look like a dust bunny so much as piece of dryer lint. So Lint she became! She really does look like dryer lint. So here is Lint, she is also my only cat:
Here are pics of some of my other cats I've had. I'll post better pics of my other computer. The black one is Arthur who was my Love. I loved that cat. I euthanized him when he was 19. I cried and cried. I adored him. He was a rescue from the animal shelter and came with the rediculous name Artie-Babie. Pahleeze Artie Babie? What self respecting cat is name Artie Babie? So he changed his name to Arthur:
Then there was Toby my rescued Maine Coon he could catch any thing. He even caught a bat once:
