I really hope that the OP of this thread gets my post about it not beeing hopeless... please let me know if you hav etossed your eggs out or still have them in there!!!

I don't think 8 hours is anything to be upset about quite yet. Don't toss them out yet. Keep on incubating them and then candle them in a couple of days. Don't go down without a fight!

Hi, did you save the eggs or throw them out? If not and you can afford to wait, I'd suggest to hang in there.

to bad you tossed them I hope you find some eggs soon. and remember next time ask here first before tossing any eggs!!! I asked and everyone told me it was probably a lost cause and I was so bummed and I decided to give them a try any way and when day 4 rolled around after the hatch day I was so bummed my friend told me to give them a few more days and I did and on 5th day low and behold I had 30 healthy quail hatch! abd 11 of 12 chickens hatch!!!

I can send you 24+ assortment of eggs for $25 including shipping. Included in the mix would be duck eggs (2+), guinea eggs (2+), button (6+) and coturnix quail (4+) eggs, bantam chickens(6+ mixed), and LF chickens (6+ mixed). However, it wouldn't be until early next week before I could send them out. Sorry you tossed your eggs already. I had a hen leave the nest early a few weeks ago, and all the eggs were cold when I noticed. I still had 4 of 8 eggs hatch. Next time, remember to ask first!! Colder is better when it comes to eggs!
