Anyone have chickens in Weddington, NC?

We are looking at houses in Weddington and Wesley Chapel and even Matthews in Union County. I live in Charlotte now and have chickens, but can't seem to find any info about having chickens in Weddington. I am assuming they are allowed since it is Union Co, but if anyone has any info that would be really helpful!
