I have a female Blue Swedish, whose a big baby and doesn't like being without a human at all times. I just finished wrapping her left wing, so I can happily report that her angel wing is gone, and she's even more pretty than she was before.

Plus, my Metzer order for my ducklings comes tomorrow. Whooo hoo!!

Do u know how to tell male from female blue swedish?? idk mines gender really, Im thinking boy but im not to sure.

heres a pic

Well my females bill is all solid slate blue. I don't know ifnthat has something to do with gender or not but your duck has a more greenish bill. How old is he/she? No drake feather? (curly on his tail)

I just checked my silkie eggs. None were good. They were suppose to hatch today. I did an Egg topsy and one was deformed. One had a weird bump on its head, and the other two failed to absorb the yolk. Soo no silkies for me. I dont like shipped eggs

u can tell by there voice? i didnt know that lol
yep! I knew that my Swede was a female by 3 weeks old by using voice sexing. Does your duck make loud honky noises (my swede sounds like a farty sound.) or does it make a raspy noise, like it's got a sore throat, or losing its voice sort of thing?

The rouan makes raspy sounds and isnt very loud, dosent have much of a voice, i went by color on the rouan but it could be a boy. The Swedish is loud and Honks when its separated from the Rouan. And walks around and makes a Waa Waa noise. I have no idea on anything about ducks lol. I Bought them as chicks because they were cute. But im still learning lol. Im more knowledgeable about chickens.

If your Rouen makes a raspy, quieter noise I'd say it's a boy. The boys get a girly plumage before they get their big boy feathers with all the pretty head coloring and stuff lol. And if your swedish is loud, then it's a girl.

the boys are quiet, although they can have their moments. but the girls are the talkative, louder ones. and they have that honk or quack that people would usually associated with a duck. Also, the females tend to be bigger chested. My Swede is still really young (six weeks) but her chest is pretty large already.

You can always just wait to see who lays the eggs.

ETA: I got my first ducklings at the local country store... I had no idea what I was doing, and I'm still learning a lot about ducks all the time; but you get the hang of it. They're smelly, but fun. :) Also, if you have problems with your ducks not being as friendly as you'd like, I would make a nice muddy puddle, to take them to a few times a week somewhere in the yard. My mom has a big garden where I dug out a spot for Blue Belle to play in... she's much more social with me now. LOL
