So, I candled on day 5 and there were 5 eggs out of 11 developing. Candled yesterday (day 11) and there were 9, all at the same exact stage of development. Weird!

Sounds like mine, candled early on, only one, candled today before lockdown and there are 3.

ok I set my eggs on the 20th and the three lil eggs which are about the size of ping pong balls are moving around like crazy when I candle them. So far all 22 of my eggs are good. I am really suprised since this is the first time i have ever set eggs. Mine are barnyard mix, americauna? not sure if i spelled that right leghorns and reds. I am so excited to see them all hatch. My kids love it when i candle they say it's cool to see the baby move around which i completely agree!!!

Thanks for the info! I'm glad it's not a problem to sell your hatchs continuously. I didn't want to start doing it if others around here might have a problem with it. I already have a couple people on a "waiting list" for when my babies hatch in Mid-March. One was going to order online but heard I was going to have babies soon so she got ahold of me and is going to get some when they hatch. I'm really nervous about any of the hatchlings going to any kind of "meat" family..( I name the babies and get attached to each of them. ) But I'm thinking that will change the more that goes. I know it's normal and not a BAD thing to raise ducks for meat. But like I said I bond..and I'm a baby...lol!
