Well the egg I dropped and cracked yesterday was doing good all day yesterday but quit overnight

So I have lost one but the other 16 are still going strong on day 8. I took out three coturnix eggs as 2 weren't fertile and 1 had a blood ring. So I am down to 13 on those still going and they are day 6 I think. The other 17 I have in a friends bator from her chicks (hatching them for her) I am not sure about. Its day 4 on them and I SHOULD see a spider in them and so far I'm seeing NOTHING but yolk. :( I hate to tell her that her eggs are all not fertile. That would suck. I will wait though and see if something shows up, but if nothing still by day 9 they out! I have 6+ EE/OE eggs coming today YAY! from a BYC swap so they will go in when they get here. l also found someone who has Indian runner ducks eggs ear me. So I am getting six of those to start on Monday and I'm selling the other 6 to a guy in FL :). Still waiting on my BBS Orpinton eggs to be sent too.

glad it's like 40 miles from me, they were getting ready for the chicks when I was there last week. I don't know why i want chicks so bad, my daughter is in 4h and is getting like 25 in april, plus I have 10 developing in the incubator, plus the 6 I already have...lol

I sent 22 to school with my son to let 2 little girls hatch them for 4H. They're due to hatch a week from today. I'm getting the chicks back since they can't keep them for some reason. Depending on how their hatch goes, I'm hoping to not have to get any more. Knowing me I will get more anyway lol.
 
I candled my eggs yesterday, and only ONE was not developing! :woot I did end up cleaning them off on Tuesday, so I am very happy they are still doing okay, even though I should never have cleaned them off in the first place. :/ My broody is such a good mama!
