ANYONE HAVE EGGS DUE!! CHARTS ON PAGE ONE POST ONE!! NEWCOMERS WELCOME!!!

Today is hatch day for me... 7 eggs the old fashioned way with a White Plymouth Rock mama.. I am nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof.. Can't WAIT to get home and see what is happening?? How long do I wait if I don't have babies today... today is day 21...Lordie, I am so excited!!! Thanks

My white broodie hatched 3 chicks out of nine eggs (cracked the duds.. and they were) yesterday, last night, I lifted the turkey hen up and there were 2 very wet babies under her. They are MUTT CHICKEN eggs, and theres 10 under her; I haven't checked today whats going on, I got a good tweak on the arm last night, lol. I originally had her down for today. AND I have 18 fertile eggs that went into lockdown yesterday in the bator. I see a good pile of guinea eggs in the barn, and I may just fire the bator up again, and put those in, and see in 9 days whats going on with them. So far before, they weren't fertile. But, lately within the last month or so, 4 of them have paired up. The one big pearl tries to steal the black guinea with the black male periodically. Bully, lol.

Hi stephanie1992! I'm new at this stuff also. I've had eggs in my incubator and it's day 17 for my Dominique eggs and they seem clear (no dark). I did have temp issues when I first started. I still have Icelandics under a broody Dark Cornish. Barnevelder,French-tailed Buff Marans, Barred Holland,Black Copper Marans and more Icelandics in the incubator. All seem OK and are due within days of each other. Hope everything works out for everyone hatching!

P.S. Thanks for the charts!

Can anyone suggest a thread for me? i have never incubated eggs but I am gonna give it a go!! Have an LG bator with automatic turner, got from friend of friend . Never candled an egg. I feel a little intimidated but got eggs so gotta try.

I've ogt 4 Blue Swedish ducklings due in a week- under my Ameracauna hen. Then I"ve got 11 Mandarin eggs due in 2 1/2 weeks all under my Mandarin hen, and 8 Australian Spotted ducklings due in 3 weeks- under my Silkie hen (but that number goes down every few days as she pushes an egg out...I think I put too many under her). So by June's end, I hope to swimming in ducklings!

I'm a little late getting into this thread, but I'm on day 2 of my first incubation. I'm incubating 11 Ancona eggs. I'm looking forward to seeing all the colors, and going through this thread to read what you guys have experienced!
