Interesting to say "I want to see some facts on why it's evil" with respect to ouija boards. There are no facts that it does anything more than allow for fun times at a party. In other words, if you want to say "prove it's evil" first you have to "prove that it even works." And to this date, no one has. And considering how long they've been used (in some form or another), that leads me to the conclusion that they don't work.

If I told you I have found a way to get 1000 miles to the gallon in my non-hybrid, non-electric, totally gasoline-powered automobile, would you believe me without proof? Then how is it believed that a piece of cardboard and a plastic glider are able to communicate with the dead, with no proof ever given? In fact, if you do a search through scientific journals online, you'll find lots of peer-reviewed, data-based published studies refuting ouija boards and other forms of facilitated communication. When there are reasonable, rational, proven explanations for how something works, why ignore them and invent some paranormal force as the explanation? It's like saying a computer works because there are spirits inside the motherboard which are trapped inside and forced to do the bidding of the person at the keyboard.

It works,, by some sort of energy..somethng or other...

BUT.. by that i JUST mean it moves the little pointer thingie around....
the contacting spirits thing is a WHOLE 'nother matter...

That's like saying my automobile I claim gets 1000 miles to the gallon works because it gets me to school. Yeah, it's doing something, but not the important thing I'm claiming about it.

I dont know.. thats all i can tell ya.. cant really explain it.
Have you ever really tried one and had it move for you? Just wondering..

Yes. And it doesn't frighten me, because a much more rational explanation exists for why it moves than the whole "spirits" or "demons" ones. And, once I actually did do it with someone, and we both kept our eyes closed, and someone else watched and wrote down the letters/numbers. What "message" we got was completely indecipherable.

You can believe what you wish, but claiming absolutely that they work in communicating with the dead requires evidence. No one has provided such evidence to date. Knowing this, if you wish to continue being afraid of a piece of cardboard and a plastic glider, you are free to do so. But don't think you can make me join you, because you'll be disappointed.

(What you see today is but a modern toy, without the power the taking boards once
contained. They were used by the ancient wizards, the shaman, the magicians of the
times. Their use--their very real use--was to control the people.)

Most everything that contains fear is to control the people. That's what Heaven and Hell is all about. The whole religion concept is based on that. FEAR.
The 3 primary Holy Books are all based in fear. The only thing to truly fear is fear itself. I believe someone greater than me said the same thing. He was right about it too.

The more intelligent humans have known this since they first became aware. You know back when we had jackets made by Mother Nature. Those with the resources make very good use of it.

Quija boards are fun when you're a kid. If your brain has yet to wrap itself around reality or if you haven't entirely accepted the popular alternate reality you might want to stay away. Not because of anything in the board, but because of what is locked in your head.

I would love to truly be able to contact the dead. My father was a very devout Catholic as was my grandmother. She died 3 years to the day after her son. She was absolutely heart broken when he died. Almost pulled his coffin down on her at the viewing. After he died she deteriorated rapidly as so often happens.

I would love to be able to talk about my life to my Dad. I would really love to ask him about God and if there is one. I'm fairly sure there is some form of afterlife. It would be neat to have that knowledge based on fact instead of superstition and control freaks. You could never prove it, but if you actually experienced it you would at least know it 1st hand and proceed through life with true knowledge.
