Anyone have GOOD RIR photos

For years I thought a RIR was a .. well.. YUK bird, then I went to a lady's house where I saw my first (after many years and years showing) good one.. I think if people saw the diffrance between what hatcheries sell and what the breed standard is.. it would help alot of us.
The bird I saw was a RIR rose comb roo.. his size alone was amazing. His awesome mahogany color, stunning!! If I would have seen that bird years ago, I may have liked RIRs.

I would love to see some more of that breed that are good ones..

Bamachicken has beautiful RIRs some with rosecomb.

I have a pair from her eggs that my broody wyandotte hatched this spring.

This dark little pullet is one of them.

The hens you have standing next to your lovely poult is what I grew up thinking a RIR was.. the diffrance is like 2 diffrent breeds.. Thank you.. beautiful..

This is red...... His color is good, his comb lacking . There is quite the story on this guy. First off hes NUTZ hes terrified of sebrights but will take on a goose. When I got him I honestly don't think he had ever touched the ground. After the mandatory time of being alone he was introduced to the flock who all freerange and he would sit there shaking and if any bird came near him he would scream and run away like a CHICKEN and the dumb bird would not stop running UGH Don't know how many times I had to hunt him down to rescue him. At this point he quit crowing and his comb began to shrink he became a "girlie bird" I then moved him to the basement room for the winter and he wintered with the Cochins , rosecombs and a few other odds and ends. He began to crow again... Comb still stayed small and I decided to bring him in a RIR hen he began to breed her and his comb came back a lil more. Spring roll around ... and as you can guess I'm beyond sick of the RIR roo in my basement so I decided it was time for him to make it in the flock or not... Well he did it and hes crowing again not doing alot of mating but acting like a roo . All I can say I ended up with a mental rooster and the funnest thing about it I personally was dead set NOT to get a RIR due to all the horror stories I had heard but HUBBY had to have him
