Anyone have hometown or state atheletes in this years Summer Olympics?

I attended a Johnson & Johnson sponsored event for "mommy-bloggers" back in February, and at the end, they randomly selected three bloggers to win all-expenses-paid trips to Beijing for the Olympics. I have never crossed my fingers so hard in my life!

I didn't win, but out of 54 bloggers present, ALL THREE who won were friends of mine.

My good friend who was one of the winners, just arrived in China today...and as luck would have it, she could not be less interested in any of the events! I made her promise to attend at least a few events, or to lie and say she did, for my sake. I hope she has a good time and gets swept up in the excitement of it, after all.

I THINK Maryland has a couple of competetors, let me see that Micheal Phelps is one that comes to mind, and a couple others too.....
