:frowGood morning , And :hugs and :love to everyone here that needs it today.

*fun note. :old
Clicker training as an application of behavioral analysis is now almost 50 years old.
As a former dog trainer who uses 100% positive reinforcement as my training model, :love I found it to be almost universally successful with incredible results. :celebrateThe hardest part for me was teaching the poor HUMANS :he the coordination to to use it effectively! Takes a little practice, and the human's timing on the CLICK ( as an event marker) has to be spot on, but once they've mastered that, they are amazed at how fast their dogs LEARN!:ya:woot :lau
The place we got our lab from trains clicker, treat method. Positive reinforcement.

Labs are great dogs. Smart and devoted, eager to learn.

No dog is ever too old to learn or to learn a "new way to learn" for that matter.

Edited to add:
People too, if they aren't too stubborn!
We got our dog when she was 5yrs old & learn about Karen Pryor clicker training then.
Shhh! Between us, I've also used some clicker training on my partner!! :bun:bun
