Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

:hugs bless you @staceyj we are already doing that along with that we are down to syringe feeding and water.
He is fading fast on us. It is OK. He is loved enough to not make him suffer much more.

He can still walk and go potty outside. He just refuses anything to eat or drink.
Bless him. Warm, cozy, comfort and love sounds like what he needs the most, and I bet he is getting lots of it. Give him kisses from all of us.

Poor, sweet dog.
One of my favorite books is a children's book by the author Cynthia Rylant.
DOG HEAVEN.
Regardless of your faith or age, it is a beautiful and heartwarming explaination of what happens to our beloved sidekicks after they leave us on earth. I've bought many copies over the years as gifts.

It has given me solace many times.

So. I followed this thread in the beginning, but I lost track. Did they find the chicken? Sorry, I know this is kind of late I suppose. LOL! :)
Hahaha. Not yet!
We haven't given up hope, but in the meantime we've become friends and we hang out discussing chickens, food, families, life and death... you're welcome to join in!
