Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

21 Hens- you are not dragging the thread down at all. It is part our lives.

I ended up putting the 2 little ones in the run with the rest and they did ok. The little yellow cochin got picked on a couple of times. She eats and drinks, but for the most part she only wants to cuddle under another chick and sleep. Cry baby, the runt of the original silkies, did that too and cried a lot, but she is better now, but still small.
The one to the Right is the small one.

I just LOVE the little Cochin's!
Both of my "buff" ended up being reds but turned out very pretty. My current avatar is named Chaos and is a "buff" Cochin. I am pretty sure they oopsed at the feed store lol.

Something to focus on while breaking a broody Buff.

Trying to make her stretch her legs a bit.

She's temporarily out of chicken jail, wearing a diaper , and being forced to follow mearound and watch me clean house.
I'm trying to show her that being a mother isn't all that it's cracked up to be!!!!

Apparently I'm a hijacker too..
some people just don't appreciate as for how friendly and social we are. I feel like the kid who gets yelled at for talking to the kids sitting next to them in class.
Anyway back to chickens, what is the diaper made out of and how do you hold it on there?
