Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Memories of all the family coming together to make them. Even the little ones.its so much work and the house would be so warm from cooking. The meat took the longest until mom bought a huge awesome pressure cooker! My grandmother's canned tamales were even cooked in it.

And we also had the traditional holiday meals on top of that.

Wow, that sounds amazing! THAT I can totally understand. Family food memories are some of the best. I don't think my husbands family actually *make* tamales they just like eating them as a holiday treat :) Maybe one of these days I'll try making them myself

@KikisGirls Awesome! Thank you so much!

Maybe "UPDATE: ROOSTER CAUGHT, NO HEN"

Or something equally informative.

Is tagging and mentioning it the same?

I'm bad at this internet life!

No clue about the toes, I would have to Google that.

It is official! I have lost my mind!!!:he
I just ordered more Bantams: 2 Welsummer, 2 Easter Eggers and 1 Barred Rock, all pullets. My fear of straight runs appears to have turned into a real life nightmare. How can my odds be so bad.
Oh well, life goes on and looks like I will have 8 week olds and new chicks on Nov 13. And 1 grumpy a$$ hen that isn’t happy about having company.

Where'd you order them from?
