My sis has a dog with epilepsy. She takes pheno too. They monitor her very closely.
By herbal supplement do you mean...???
It's amazing what the oil can do. A lot of places will prescribe it for a pet now.

No oil... it's a powder mix of different herbs, like milk thistle, st johns wort and the like. We just started it actually, so not sure if it's *helping* yet or not. Haven't gotten him into the vet yet as he's not *officially* ours yet...... we took him home for a test drive, totally hated him (although kiddo loves him), rescue ownder said give it a little more time, we ended up taking him with us to FL for a 36 hour trip, ended up forgetting his meds, mixed a few things up, noticed he was an ANGEL off his meds, he did very VERY well... up until he had 5 seizures within a 1.5 hour period (that scared me and the kiddo TO DEATH), put him back on his full dose... he returned to dooch nozzle status, dropped him down to half doses and the herbal supp, he's only half dooch now... and I can tolerate that!!!

PICS!!!!!!!

Those are gorgeous! I think our house was built in 1960 and it still had the original gold drapes hanging.

Ours is a manufactured home, built in 2001, with the TACKIEST old lady border in each room. Biggest problem now is the damn border... it was put up on unpainted wall, so the paper can't be MOISTened to peel it off..... ugh

It's cool and creative. Here's the recipes...

Witches stew. Slather the Werewolf meat (beef chuck roast) with horse radish and seasonings and brown in a bit of olive oil. Put in the crock pot. Add dirty water (beef stock) and the vampire hearts (whole tomatoes), shrunken heads (baby whole potatoes), Eyeballs (pearl onions), Ghoul bones (celery), and toes (carrots) and cook on low at least 8 hours.

Severed Fingers. Bake fingers (garlic bread sticks in half) with nails (sliced almonds) based upon package directions.

Jack-o-lantern float. Orange Fanta, vanilla ice cream (and for the adults a shot of vanilla vodka). Can anyone remember a dream sickle?

Mice. Marshmallow mice
Monster bites. Chocolate brownies with candy eyes and mouth
Grave Yard Brownies. Chocolate brownies with chocolate icing and a candy tomb stone.

Pic's on the way once I get them.

Sorry to go off topic, but I've noticed a lot of food conversation on here so thought I'd ask a question of ya'll:
Has anyone used a thermal cooker? It sounds like a great idea, but not sure if it is truly as good as it sounds. I was going to get one but thought I'd see if anyone has ever used one. Any thoughts?

@guineapeeps we have a thermal cooker and it works quite well. Often times we will use it to keep meat warm when we sail. It does rice and Irish oats very well. However for the price, we got ours for under $50, last time we checked they were over $100, I like my Instant Pot better for cooking, fast or slow.
