Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

It's cold and wet here. We had a HUGE thunderstorm overnight that woke me up and kept the boys tossing and turning. Our deep fryer was outside, as well as a blanket that was on the line that I'll have to rewash. The blankets we have are huge, thick and king sized, so hard to dry fully in the dryer... it takes about 2 hours for a single blanket to dry. So there's that....

Top it with having a Fibro Flare (I have Fibromyalgia and CFS), so I knocked out for a bit... and I am massively tired today and really bad GERD.....

Just found out that DHs 4 day weekend, which was gonna be a 3 day weekend, has now turned into a 2.5 day weekend. Yeesh. He needs to retire if we are going to get this place up and running and making $$$

I am a total chef.. and I CAN bake.... but the adjustments I"ve had to make to our food... I can't bake any longer... I used to make hoagie rolls and crock pot meatballs every weekend....... no more.... :barnie:he

So, terribly jealous of your artistic types.... I buy a walmart cake and I'm done....

I'm back in my jammies and back in bed...... everyone is fed and happy... although it is terribly MOIST here.... yeegawds....

when your kids are small sometimes you have to make a choice between catching up on "important" stuff or taking a nap with the kids.
Always choose the nap.
All that other stuff can wait.

But can NOT decorate.
I worked in a bakery for a few years.
writing, it turned out was my jam. Lol.

*fun fact.
If you are super nice, sometimes a bakery will sell you frosting by the pound.
(And it's not cheap)
They never advertise this fact, you have to ask very quietly.

I also ask for the bucket that the frosting comes in, great plastic food grade storage containers!

Totally. My little guy took an almost 5 hour nap today. From 12:40-4:50 with 20 min of awake time to nurse in the middle. Hopefully that helps his little system fight the good fight and doesn't wreck our sleep tonight.

My poor puppys neck. And we couldnt even get it all shaved. You can see even at home shes not happy with getting treatment. Her pupils are huge! And I'm holding her by the snout in a corner. I think she got some spray on her. I know I did and so did the wall...:he

What a difficult place on a dog. Does she like belly rubs? Soothing pets, then medicine? Best wishes!
