I have tried to turn off email notifications from this group and I am not having luck. Any ideas or directions?
You may have to unwatch the thread the rewatch it and uncheck the email notification box.
Try unwatching the thread, then click watch thread and click without email notifications.
Edit: Nun beat me to it!

If you go to your watched threads page and click "show all" at the bottom you will get a little checkable box next to each thread. Then a box at the bottom shows up and lets you select what you want to do with every thread you checked the box next to.
GAH! I remember your thread! I was watching it but it stopped notifying me.. now I have to go check out your babies.Broody Xena hatched a little over 2 weeks ago.... those were bought off eBay... 7 out of 12 hatched.....
You're brilliant! I keep having piles of emails to delete everyday.. THANK YOU!!!!!!
Yes they come out and stay in the run most of the day. They do not like the snow so I shovel most of the run. No frostbite and believe it or not the feather footed in the big run don't get gross feathers. They have the shorter foot feathers so that helps.Oh wow... It's pretty, but I do not envy you at all. So they come outside an frolic in the snow and no one's toes get frostbite and fall off?
Well that is a total let down for him.My husband said where they need to hunt the snow is waist deep and no way to get the animals out. Sounds like his week is pretty much a bust.
I got the shoveling done. The sun is already trying to come out so that will help.Oh my!!! That doesn’t look fun at all!!! I heard today is our last day in the 70’s!!![]()
A hundred pages OHMYGOSH!! Mostly a bunch of chatting about food, life, kids, and of course chickens.I know... I forgot... I'm in the play at my school, and school is killing me, and my siblings are crazy, and...I'm about a hundred pages behind.![]()
Yep. That's egg #2.... while turning them on Saturday, I dropped another egg on top of it, cracking it. This is my 2nd cracked egg, and I've only had 2 sets of eggs to incubate (1 under Xena).... so, incubating might not be in my cards... UGH
I got these from a member of BYC, named SIMZ. She sent me 15, 2 were discarded for being duds already, the rest are either good (look to be growing), good with movement seen, and 1 unsure (egg is too dark to see through). Our indoor incubating has been a VERY bad thing so far... having gone through 3 incubators that the auto turner broke within 24 hours, or arrived broken from Amazon. We're now in the process of building an incubator.
Seeing snow like this, makes me wanna switch my girls back over to dry feed.... ha!!
So #1 with the wax on it didn't hatch out?Broody Xena hatched a little over 2 weeks ago.... those were bought off eBay... 7 out of 12 hatched.....
Precious!!!Oh, do you guys want to see some cuteness?
These are my 5 week old Black Cochin/Dominique, Dom cross black sex link chicks. They are really starting to grow into nice little fluffy birds. If you don't know how Black Sex Links work, You put a solid color rooster (my Black Cochin) that isn't dominant white, over a barred hen (my Dominiques and Dom crosses are all barred) and the male chicks get the barring from mama and the females are all black. The Buff hen behind them in the second picture is the girl who hatched them out, she is still very much a good mama.
