In my thinking, if it is going to be cold, it needs to snow. I have no use for below freezing temps if there is no snow.I love snow....but hate the cold.

I agree. Although the thought of stomping back to the coop through a foot+ of snow makes me rethink that theory. I feel like if it's going to snow it either needs to be a light coating that easily scrapes off my car, or so much snow that school and my work are closed. And I just realized I need to get my snow scraper out of the trunk of my car tonight. & crossing my fingers it's not under the bale of straw I've been storing in my trunk. In my thinking, if it is going to be cold, it needs to snow. My husband said where they need to hunt the snow is waist deep and no way to get the animals out. Sounds like his week is pretty much a bust.Well HAPPY Late Birthday!!!!
All you people and your 62 degrees.
I got up to at least 4 inches of the S word. AND it is still falling. The forecast was on target in the morning yesterday. The evening forecast was WAY off. I left the sides of the hoop run up and now may have to shovel it out too.
I am going to finish my coffee then gear up to shovel me a path to the birds.
I will get a couple of pictures for you warm weather folks so you can see what yer missing.

Not to bad but.
The second pic is the top of the hoop run showing how much piled up there.
Well the girls heard me so are grumbling wanting out. Time to shovel. The big run has no real snow protection so I gotta clear that too.
