Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

***WARNING: EXTREME Cuteness Alert***

My Black Cochin/Dominique chicks turned 7 weeks old today.

The hen that hatched them is still a very good Mama. When I was collecting eggs I noticed all 10 of them had piled up together and started making distressed peeping noises. Mama hen climbed on top of them and they quieted down.

Bonus points if you can find all 10 chicks!

Edited to fix age of chicks: I originally said they were 5 weeks, I recounted, they are 7 weeks today.

I SEE ALL 10!!!!!
I caught a brief glimpse of the tenth adorable little face before I totally died from the cuteness overload :love:love:love:love:love:love:love:love:love:love

@raecarrow our squealing moments with Xena, is watching the nuggets climb on her back and ride around.... me and the PIC get so excited, we get too loud and end up *scaring* the rider off the bucking broody! :D
These chicks went for mama rides as well, but I was never able to get a picture of the action. :'( I did get pictures of my previous mama (a Dominique/Buff cross) giving rides to her Leghorn X babies.

I'm worried...... about my bator eggs....

I believe it was on day 7 I accidentally dropped another egg on top of egg #2, and it cracked. It looked like hairline fractures, so we sealed it with the only wax we had.... a Glade scented candle..... of course, ever since, when we open the bator, it smells like a scented wax warmer! :lau

I just hope I can smell a *bad* egg over the nice smelling wax, before it blows up!

Can anyone find the bunny??

That is George the wild bunny that lives under the big chicken house.

That is all the cuteness I have.
Sorry all the tiny chickie pics are in my desk top computer that is blocked by construction crap. I don't much want to try to get to it.
I see the bunny!

Ok bed time. Good night all!

FLUFFY BUNNY! oops still had caps lock on. We have a few wild/runaway bunnies in our neighborhood. My hubby gets a nervous look in his eye anytime one comes into our yard... he is afraid I am going to adopt yet another pet! :lau
