I think it is Cry Baby (1/3 black Silkies) that is acting cold. She is 8 weeks old, but has always been behind the others that are double her size. She always cried a lot as a baby (like Diane) and used to walk funny. So, whatever is going on has been going on since birth

My chicks have been sitting in OHIO since yesterday. I am so not happy!!!

I've been away...spent yesterday taking a "chicken class" and decided to not cook dinner and order pizza instead.
I woke around 11pm with horrible heartburn...
Then..
DH tried to murder me last night with a glass of baking soda and water for the heart burn.
I have never felt like I was going to die before last night.
Horrible horrible spasm things that about killed me.

I have been sacred to eat or drink anything all day...afraid that pain would come back.
Looks like I just found a painful diet plan!

I'm plagued with middle of the night heartburn after eating certain things. Pizza,spaghetti etc.
two things have helped.
A wedge pillow!!!! And
I take 400 mgs of cimetidine (otc Tagamet) as soon as I get home or before I go to bed on those nights I've been bad.
It helps a lot.
My DH has a hiatal hernia, GERD, Barrett's esophagus, and a host of other things.
He's on omeprazole for life.

What happened to me wasn't just normal heartburn..I don't think.
I felt like I was having contractions (think having a baby contractions) in my chest/throat.
I don't care to ever feel that again.

Like a muscle spasm? But in your throat... making it feel like you can't swallow or it'll hurt something awful?

Well, I got two packages in the mail today. Yay!!! My incubators have arrived. Huh, these boxes look a little skinny to be the incubators I ordered. Oh well lets open it up..

Wait, these aren't incubators, I didn't order this. GAHHHHH. BTW: Ebay's refund system SUCKS.

Not I'm questioning the wisdom of the incubator I was trying to order. Which incubator do you guys like best? I need a starter incubator and a hatching incubator. I want the starter to hold at least 36 eggs and the hatcher 12 eggs. I don't want to spend a lot of money as I'm just getting started.

Beekissed swears by castor oil for scally legg mites
and nustock for about everything else

I've seen people talk about nustock but never looked into it. Time to do more research.

I ordered hatching eggs from southern Ohio...they went to Kentucky first! I live in North eastern Ohio!

Sweetie I think they left Ohio at 11:21 this morning. If I am reading the top right it says the departed Ohio.

It will be OK.

That is some serious pain then @KikisGirls. I have had the nighttime heartburn but nothing like that! I would have been seriously thinking heart attack.
. Very glad you made it through. I hope you never have another bout of pain like that.

Some how I messed up that reply.
Did it feel like a horrible muscle spasm deep inside your throat/esophagus ?
...make you unable to even swallow spit or it would trigger it to get tighter?
