I feel so awkward, I don't garden, don't do any canning, and became an accidental chicken owner. I also became a reluctant parakeet owner, but like one of my kids said, when it comes to animals, if it has a heart beat, I'll fall in love with it. But, considering the only thing you need to be in a flock is something in common, and my kids are beginning to think that I'm becoming a crazy chicken lady... I guess this is a good place for me.

Hey!! We've all got our own "things"! I'm sure you do lotsa cool stuff some of us couldn't wrap our brains around I, too, love all things with a beating heart!! Except ticks and skeeters. Those things can rot........
