I too am a 12 year old boy trapped in a 49 year old woman's body. Gross words, foul body noises & smell always make me laugh. Can't help myself :lau.
Thus your name... :lau

( although I've had a nearly lifelong dream of working in a funeral home)
*Irish catholic background.
Whenever my mom would say " Pick out a pretty dress because after supper we're going somewhere." It usually meant that somebody had died and we were going to the viewing!
Some of my best childhood memories revolve around those experiences... meeting distant relatives...hearing great, probably only partly true stories about the 'dearly departed' ...all us kids running around til we were drenched in sweat playing tag out in the parking lot...:th

That's exactly what I was thinking. Everyone but my leghorn cockerel loves to dust bath, even my OEBB bantam cockerel has been seen fluffing around in a hole by the trees. I burned up some wood so I have a bag of ash to toss in w/ the dirt. I gets pretty muddy/ wet here in the winter/ spring and I can't see them being happy about not having their dirt to play in. I thought about just using a couple of the nesting boxes on the floor that they don't use, but then the dirt would probably end up coming out the cracks.
Kiddie pools work great with a tarp over it like a tent 20$ total cost

They do so love to make us feel silly!

I thought my 5+ year old bantam was all done laying eggs. I thought WOW my giant Cochin Pullet sure is laying tiny eggs! Yesterday I was in the yard and decided to gather eggs early. Nope no eggs but the Cochin bantam was in the box. I shrugged my shoulders and went about doing small chores. Then that bantam set to singing! Sure enough there was a tiny egg in there! I guess the giant ain't layin after all.
My bantam Cochin laid her second egg today so excited I want to hatch them

How old is your grey?

We just recently acquired a Timneh and adore him.

He was allowed to over bond to the previous owner and then neglected for the last year or so. We are working through a lot of issues.

Few days ago my DH was in the shower and the bird said "Love?" In the same way that I do when calling for DH. DH kept asking "What? What Love?"

It tickled me. DH can't catch a break.

Agree, you should see an African Grey parrot saying, "Want More!" while I cut up the corn on the cob. Crack for all birds! Dylan the Grey gets a piece of raw corn on the cob when we have it, loves it! Bird brains are a lot alike! Try keeping crows off of your corn when it is almost ready!

I love this!!! Y'all are the best people in the world!!!

I guess about 2 months ago, I saw a post on FB of this sweet little dog that needed a home. I got the dog home and put her straight in the tub, she was so infested with fleas, that she barely had hair on her back. When the water ran over her, she cried. I tried to rinse the soap off and the water turned coffee brown. I couldn’t get the soap out, so I took her to the backporch and scissor cut her for 4 HOURS! I am scared of using the clippers and didn’t know what I was dealing with.
This poor dog had fist sized mats hanging all around her face, ears and stomach. Her feet were encased in mats and those mats where attached to her stomach mats!! They pulled when she walked!
We named her Mattie. The vet thinks she is about 12. As best I can tell she is deaf and someome loved her at some point because she knows tricks and is so precious!! I will post some pics and videos. I have another video, but I cannot find it.
