Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

@Smuvers Farm did you say you had a steam juicer? If yes, it's the only kitchen tool I have that gives me two for one and many instances.

I have an Omega cold press juicer. Steam pressed makes the juices less nutritious.

I have that one! :lau

And one that says "Duct tape cannot fix stupid, but it muffles the sound.".

I need that one for the DH.

Please excuse my laughing.

I was LMAO over this... very derpy indeed!!!

Jaiden is one of a kind. My favorite part is how the little bantam just hops right up w/ no problem at all and there's Jaiden struggling and flying backwards.

I've been trying to con DH into getting turkeys, telling him we can EAT them.....but he's not falling for it......

I know! Wait until close to Thanksgiving, then claim you were confused about the type of turkey(s) you supposed to buy! And if he argues, remind him that fresh is always better than frozen anyway.... nothin' fresher than a box of turkey poults!

I have an electric pressure cooker that does other things, but just use it for tough cuts of meats. It's nice to be able to just program and go. I take an old stewing hen, cut it up, brown it with a little seasoning, then toss it in the cooker with a can of cream of mushroom soup, a can of cream of celery soup and a can of milk. Then just tell it to go. Cook up some buttered noodles for a base and dinner's ready. Sometimes toss in some peas in the noodles.
Never tried it with cream of celery, but that is one of our favorites! Over rice, not noodles.
