Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Home safe, long drive. We got on the road at 10:20am and made it home at 7:30pm. The birds are great. They were very good on the car ride, barely a peep out of them, and they arrived looking very well and alert. They were only with us for the last 6 hours of the drive. But still. They aren't precisely what I wanted (which was LF white) but they are show quality birds, just this breeder's "seconds" - the birds that were good enough to not go to freezer camp, and were raised to an age were he could judge them better as breeders, but didn't make the final cut for his breeding stock. They are still gorgeous birds.

Unfortunately, I arrived after dark and decided to leave them in the transport cage overnight. I'll get pics tomorrow.

Large Fowl or Bantam?

Large Fowl. The guy's wife said when they weighed them at 6 months the pullets were +6 lbs and the rooster was almost 9lbs. They will be 7 months old on the 5th.

Those are large fowl. My Red Production is 4.95 pounds.

@Smuvers Farm Some states will do it for animals even if they won't do it for people. The videos of animals and people using it for seizures are amazing. They stop in minutes.

Kentucky legislators did propose comprehensive medical marijuana bills in 2014, 2015, and 2016, but in all instances the legislature failed to pass the legislation or adjourned without taking action. Still, the legislators’ continuing efforts to present these bills leave activists hopeful that soon one will gain enough support to pass.

I'll tell you.... throughout every seizure he had, I held him and cried and promised I'd never let it happen again. I got some pheno into him after the first seizure, but it didn't kick in.

Well, I'm off to bed. I have to catch up on sleep. My 16 month old son decided that 12:30am was a good wake up time and didn't go back to sleep until 5am this morning. I got some sleep last night (an hour before he woke up, 45 min when I handed him off to Daddy at 4am and 2.5 hrs after I FINALLY got him back to sleep), but nothing like what I need. Hopefully he'll sleep better now we are home. Thankfully, he doesn't pull that sort of stunt very often.

I am hoping they legalize it in Texas soon that was the only thing I have ever found that helped me sleep. I get mind races and RLS and I used to use it and I would sleep all night

I have mind raves... not races... full on, pull out the glow sticks RAVERS in my head.... DH doesn't understand it but accepts it and doesn't *bug* me about em. No RLS, but very bad plantar fasciitis in my right foot and carpal tunnel in both wrists (since preggo with kiddo) that comes and goes. We've tried damn near everything to put me to sleep and keep me asleep and nothing works.




Well, a coupla bottles of wine works... but I'm so old that my hangovers last DAYS instead of HOURS.... balls........

It's so hard to watch. My sisters little dog knows it's about to happen. She comes to find someone and lays right next you then starts to seize. It's such a helpless feeling.
