That at that pretty and clean poop board too. I had a 2”x2” roost and changed it for a flat survice. I don’t know that Sesame is liking it though.
How far up are your roosts? My smaller roost is ~ 1 ft high. I have no idea about the other one. I used a 2x4 for the short roost, I'm wondering if it's too big. My delaware seemed to like it, but I'm wondering if she was just afraid to get down b/c she's a hefty lady. Mine didn't want to walk in the pdz either. They were walking along the tiny edge. I was worried they'd fall or hurt their feet.
So cute! I love it! I would love to hear about the penguin cake!! I made a cake for my MIL last month and I ended up naming it the “Cover-up Cake.” I had this vision in my head and the execution wasn’t happening! I wish I would have bought a cake from the store, because I wasted an entire day!
I'll have to see if I can find a pic. It just did not turn out well at all, then someone knocked over a cup of water & it spilled on the tray, but we didn't notice it right away. We ended up w/ a sheet cake w/ a coloring page decoration, it's pretty easy, but takes FOREVER and my kids are summer babies so the hot weather doesn't help w/ the transfer. I do the exact same thing. I have grossly over-estimated my skill more than once. I suck at writing and my hands shake pretty bad, but this how I make my best cakes.

This is the cakewreck, it was horrible. The mouth is a circus peanut that was too heavy and kept falling out, hence the straw. Thankfully we had time to throw together a new penguin cake. I wasn't very upset when I found out the cake was ruined. This is what it was supposed to look like.

Others I've made are below.. some turned out better than others. Now that they're older I let them pick what they want.. More than once I've had to remind them that my abilities aren't as great as they think they are, but they think it's fun to be able to pick their design and watch me attempt it. Sometimes they help other times they just tell me it doesn't look THAT bad.
I work from home. So, sometimes, I just need to work on time sensitive tasks and he isn't happy playing or being held by Daddy. So, I downloaded Moana to my computer. If I need to work (or play with my chickens, of course!) I start that playing. Another thing he LOVES is the Super Simple Songs on YouTube. I would rather have a movie playing but the music/animation combination really keeps his attention.
You HAVE to check out the Wiggles! My daughters LOVED them. When my oldest was little was the best time for kids shows. There's one called JoJo's Circus that was adorable. By the time my little one came along they came out w/ a bunch of stupid shows. Doodlebops is also a musical/singing show, but they always seemed to play up the stupid too much for my liking.
