That would work for a few chicks. I used to order 50 chicks once a year from Murray McMurray, so I used the garage!Rubbermaid brooder.
Ladder back chair next to it weighed down with a cinder block.
Moved the light up a rung as they grew.
Old window screen over top weighed down with bricks to discourage the cat just in case he got in that room. Lol
Haha. Omg. Yes.That would work for a few chicks. I used to order 50 chicks once a year from Murray McMurray, so I used the garage!
The smallest order allowed was 25, but shipping was more cost-effective for 50. 30 layers, 20 Cornish-X. At the highest bird level, I had ~50 layers and 19 Cornish growing out. Big feed bills! I am hoping to do better in this next life!Haha. Omg. Yes.
That's where mine originated from, but only a half dozen.![]()

Criteria:
1. Near Prescott for the city amenities
2. Big enough and allows roosters
3. House not falling apart
You would think that was not asking too much, but apparently it is!
Livable vs. Affordable LOLYeah...livable is on the list here. Harder to find then you'd think. LOL
