Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Rubbermaid brooder.
Ladder back chair next to it weighed down with a cinder block.
Moved the light up a rung as they grew.
Old window screen over top weighed down with bricks to discourage the cat just in case he got in that room. Lol
That would work for a few chicks. I used to order 50 chicks once a year from Murray McMurray, so I used the garage!
 
I used a baby corral. I left it folded smaller until they needed more room. I used a tarp folded in the bottom and up the sides to hold pine shavings. Then an extension arm for my dremel to hang the light. LOL

Yeah, but first I need to find a nice place to do all this!
Criteria:
1. Near Prescott for the city amenities
2. Big enough and allows roosters
3. House not falling apart
You would think that was not asking too much, but apparently it is!

Yeah...livable is on the list here. Harder to find then you'd think. LOL
