I would like to see pics of baby frizzle. I got one at the local feed store which I don't normally do. Anyway I know their feathers are all over the place but the wing feathers kinda bow up. Just wondering if this is normal.

heres my little girl from a couple years ago, i think she was about 3 days old?? maybe?

I picked up 6 bantams at TSC just so I could get 2 of the buff silkies they had due to their minimum. The other 4 are Cochin bantams (I love the fuzzy leggs) and to my surprise all 4 of the Cochin I picked appear to have the frizzle gene.

This picture they are 2 days old:

And this picture is of a 3 day old chick (This chick is in the first picture above too):

The babies will be a week old tomorrow so I will need to get some new pictures taken. Got to pick up a new memory card for my camera as I ran out of memory space and do not want to delete any of my videos or pictures on it.

Dixie, that has got to be one of the cutest chicks ever! What color do you think it'll be? Oh, I just have to find a frizzled cochin.....

I love seeing the frizzle pics.....I don't have any yet, but I've got 16 polish bantam frizzle eggs in the incubator, due to hatch in 16 days.........I'm very excited...the friend who sent me the eggs said that about 25% will probably look frizzle.......

By what I'm finding online, cochin is the base breed, and clack and white mottled will be the coloration. Her backside pic looks like she's wearing a dress. LOL My husband is not a HUGE chicken fan, and he certianly doesn't like the fancy breeds, but even he thinks she's just precious.
