Anyone have Sultans....from Ideal??

I'm leaning towards bantum because he / she's really small in comparison.
Have no idea. Feed store bin... Too cute to pass up.

I took of the bandages from my sultans foot today, It's still separated with 2 friends. The wounds were scabbed over, but the parts were the scab was coming off, the skin was pink and her leg skin is normally blue. should I re-bandage ??

Jossanne, I think mine is more flithy with a less spectacular crest than yours. now you dont have to feel bad, cuz when i post new pics . . . .. . . . you'll see the uglyiness

Jossanne you forgot about the pictures silly goose

I'm wondering if Marshmallow might be a male....we just lost our little Sultan hen of over 2 years to our neighbor's dog. Her crest was much more rounded than Marshmallow's. She was a great little bird. She'd lay 5 eggs a week which I don't think is common for this breed.

The one in my avatar is the baby photo of the one we just lost, "Cha-Cha." She was our all-time favorite! The other birds started pecking on her all of a sudden and she was bleeding a little, so I took her out of the run to give her a break. Within minutes she was gone. The neighbors let their dogs run (randomnly) I had no idea they were even out until it was too late. The kids were so sad I immediately ordered two more and they are on the way from Ideal.

Finally got my daughter to go out and take pictures for me, since she's the one with the camera. Pretty sad when your kids have better technology than you have, eh? These are bantam sultans.

This is Darla. Her crest is a bit picked by the other girls, so not quite as fluffy as it could be.

And this is Alfalfa.
