I am raising my first round of broilers. I received 25 red bros from Ideal 10 days ago. The arrived in great condition and have been thriving. Now today two of them are falling down and tipping over. I thought they weren't supposed to have leg problems like the cornish x. I fed them chick starter for the first few days and now they are on organic all purpose - which the gal at the feed store assured me would not promote too rapid growth. Anyone have this problem now? What should I do?

Thanks!!

If it was me, I would get them on a 24% broiler feed and supplement with a poultry vitamin. They need the protein to build their muscle, which is genetically bred into them to form.

the protein is crucial, what % protein feed are they getting now?

my birds started going ape when I switched from 20% down to 16%. So I switched back to 20%.
