Ohhh I wish I did live closer to you!! I've never shipped eggs either. You have 35 Scovies? I'm soooooooooooooo jealous!!!

I expect to have lots of broodys this year though...Last year I only had 3 girls and every one of them went broody not once but twice! I actually though I lost one hen to a predator so imagine my suprise when she marches out from under my barn with 17 ducklings after I had given her up for dead a month earlier....Now I have 6 girls and am hoping for lots of ducklings this year. They sell really well in my area. I have to get a little color in my flock though, all I have is pied black and white and a few solid white. I would really like to get my hands on some chocolates or buffs
