Anyone having Scovie hatches??

I go in June. And the only real predators we have around here are snakes in the summer time and sometimes rats. But the eggs were spread out 15 or so feet from each other, three spots. It could have been cats, possums, or racoons. But ive only ever seen the coons on the side of the road. Anyone else have an idea? There were chips of egg all around the big pieces and they seemed to be almost peeled in a way that an egg zipps

My ducks all free range. Her nest was on the side of our barn, under the covered part. SHe has had two successful hatches there and it is a favorite spot of all my scovie gals. Its one of those first come first served spots. Its close to the house but that doesnt stop anything. We have deer that come and eat right at the back door of the barn with the ducks! Ive caught them together on a few ocassions. Would a cat do this?? We have two big tom cats that have lived in our barn eating mice for the past four years but i dont think its them. Im thinking rats. But it doesnt make sense. So im thinking maybe Possum? I dont know their habits though.

So sorry for your loss.
