What? Wow that is crazy fast. I order show quality Saxony ducklings myself. I decided to go with the Saxony breed because of pictures I saw of your Saxony ducks. They are beautiful!

For now I will be raising Welsh Harlequins and Saxony ducks. Can't wait to see the Saxony ducklings all feathered out. I hope yours are all well.​

Yep, I'm in NY and mine arrived just fine, took two days for two of the shipments and just one day for the last one!

Can someone post what the Saxonys look like as week old"ish" ducklings? I have either those or white appleyards in mine and I can't tell!

I wish I had gotten some Welsh harlequins in my assortment. I got lots of the same thing, like 30 of them! :O I guess I thought the assortment would have been more
"assorted" lol, I think I need to ship like 6 of them to
the auction next week, I already had to seperate out the smaller breeds from them!

I figured since I got sooo many of the heavy breed ducklings in that last shipment that I would just raise those this year for our meat ducks and skip getting Pekins.

I got my email last night and I am expecting to receive them tomorrow morning! Very excited and I hope all are alive and well...

I got a mixture of 15 ducklings but mostly runners (from what I remember!).

Well I got an email last night that they had shipped my second shipment of ducks and one of my goslings. I got some the 4/28 during the SE Tornadoes!!

thought sure they'd be delayed or messed up. All 12 were fine (they sent 2 extra I guess) as I had 2 orders of 10 and 5 Shetland goslings in another order .But I told them any date in April or after and in any order. I got some 2 years ago , and there were subsitutes for my silkies (which turned out to be very nice mini- Overberg ducks).
I did lose the one show quality penciled runner the 2nd day. I thought he looked frail, and he cheeped alot and sure enough died

. But I know Runners have alot of defects % wise anyway, so ...goes with the territory I guess. I live in Georgia, and they come thru just fine. Holddereads are the best quality out there.( I mean He wrote the book!)
I need to get pics up of them, but have been swamped. I just had a baby goose hatch and had to rescue it from the 4 geese, and I got some in the incubator first time duck eggs. And I had a 106 spike, and made some mistakes, but I heard an egg cheep tonight while turning! One of the Mini- Overberg eggs has internally pipped! I see movement in 3, can't tell with the others, just can't see...I have chucked 12 duds I was sure of out of 40, mostly Penciled runners, a couple grey runner eggs and the Mini-overberg. My mini-silver Appleyard stopped laying,right before I set the eggs,--- But the other day she layed 2 eggs, so I grabbed them and put them in the incubator. She only lays about a month or so.The mini-overberg lays 3X the eggs it seems, and she goes broody and hatched 2 runners last year. I may need to check her nest as I let her set about 5 eggs the same time I put eggs in the incubator.

I wrote to them and they wrote back that they are re-figuring shipping date and will send me new shipping dates.

At least the ducklings aren't lost in the mail somewhere.
