Anyone heard of Austra Whites ???

Cackle Hatchery offers theses this year instead of their California White.
The Austra White is supposed to be a cross between a Australorp Rooster and a white Leghorn hen and lays white eggs.
I orderred 5 pullets since I love my Australorps and wanted some white egg layers this year.

They should be a White Leghorn male over Australorp hens. This was a standard commercial cross in Australia for many years, 1940 to 1960s.
