Anyone heard of the CO2 cull method?

I let nature take care of it, I know that it is hard seeing an animal suffer, but if it is fighting for its life, then i let it fight, and do what I can to make it comfortable.

Sometime it works, sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes the CO2 produced from the reaction isnt strong enough and just makes the bird suffer more.
I've done this process before a few times with mice back when I kept reptiles and every now and then it failed.

However, the majority of the time it worked? Is it effective enough to use when and if I need it?

I use compressed Co2 in a tank, It takes quite a bit, I wouldn't think that Vinegar and baking soda would produce near enough to kill it easily/quickly. If so it would take ALOT!! lol

I am not a quick to cull person but if it needed to be done I would NOT use CO2. I believe it is easier for the person than the chick. I would use the quicker "cervical dislocation" method. Fast for chick...not so great for person.

Thankfully I have not had to do it in a long time.
