Anyone help with my Accurite ?

I got the accurite wired thermometer yesterday and i jist don't understsnd how the humidity works on this thing. I have the probe in my bator and the temp readings are changing and working but the humidity stays at 51%.The min and max change a wee bit but even after i added water to the bator the reading still stays at 51%. The instructions that came with it are very very vague, guess they assume you know how to use one.

I needs to git this thing workin coz i got an order o' pheasant eggs sitin here waitin fer me to git the bator right so i can put 'em in it.

You have to put the whole unit in the bator for it to read the humidity...not just the probe. Try it and see what happens.

Yep-if it's outside the bator it will read the humidity in your room.
