Anyone in Caledonia or Racine Wisconsin that will help me petition for ducks?

I’m trying to petition my village (Caledonia, WI) to allow keeping of ducks. Chickens are relatively new within the last few years and I’d like to add ducks to that list. I have no idea how to go about this and if anyone on this board is local to me, would you be willing to help me?
I know I have to petition my village but don’t know how to go about this and speaking in public scares the poop out of me.
Also, I need reasons to allow ducks if chickens are already allowed. Thanks in advance!!

You could try seeing if anyone is from there in our Wisconsin thread. Otherwise, dropping an ad in your local paper might work to find others in a similar situation.

Some people have food sensitivities to chicken eggs, but they are able eat duck eggs with no issues.
My friend’s daughter cannot tolerate chicken eggs, but she is able to eat duck eggs.

That’s one of my pillar arguments. Chickens may be the gateway poultry, at least I’m hoping. Plus ducks are quieter than roosters. I have a list of arguments but will need help and signatures to make my case to the village. Plus i get wicked public speaking anxiety so that does not help my situation.
