I'll plan on being there. YC is my home town. Is it possible to have a meeting place there so we can all meet one another? We would have to set up a time and place.

As for any of you, it will be easy to identify me. I'm the good lookin one.

I personally will be pretty busy all weekend so it will be hard for me to meet. Other then all the talking I do while I'm working, checking in birds and saling birds through the swap on Saturday.

I would recommend to those who want to go to meet each other and talk to each other to go on Saturday.
#1.) The poultry that is there will be for sale. The Swap. Once it is checked in then, if it has a price on it, it can be bought.

#2.) The hooved animals will all be there and be auctioning. Even if you don't want any of them they are still neat to see. It also means that while talking to each other you won't miss any birds you may want.

#3.) The biggest percentage of the poultry and everything will come in on Saturday and will be bought Saturday.

Other than that. There are some bleachers out where the poultry will be at and you can or are more then welcome to meet up in those bleachers. Kind of out of the way of everything else going on.

As for a time I would recommend if you are coming to buy and look at birds also, then I would want to plan on getting there by 9:00-10:00 to make sure you don't miss out on the birds you want. Then you could meet up and talk around 12:00 - 1:00 or so when people clear out and the auction begins inside.

Just my two cents worth I guess.

Please keep in mind that cages will sell with the birds. No need to bring extra cages. Everything in the cage sells together.
If selling make sure birds that need to be pollurum tested are, there will also be people on hand to do so it just takes longer and you have to wait. Be sure to check the website for cage requirements. We do have regulations we have to follow. State Laws, also for the safety of the animals.
Requirements can be found on the sale terms page of the website. www.kramerlivestockfarm.com

If you meet up be sure to say Hi to the young man running around crazy in charge of the poultry section of the sale.

Thanks Kramer Farms. That's a big help. Does anyone know of a landmark on the auction grounds where we can meet about 12:00? Sure would be fun.

Maybe someone could hold up a sign with BYC on it. I would be glad to do so if it would help. I'm planning on the Saturday auction.

It may be easiest to just meet in the bleachers on the North side of the show arena, which is where all of the poultry will be unloaded and sitting.

Buying Requirements - Money

Selling requirements - chickens and gamebirds need to be pollurum tested. All animals would need a health paper to cross state lines.

Kansas birds only need tested.

Be sure to check the sale page to see the new consignments!

Yes. It looks like the 27th at 6 pm just west of the Dutch Bakery. There are always lots of cars. I didn't go last friday, it was to COLD! I'm hoping it warms up by the march sale. Susan
