I personally will be pretty busy all weekend so it will be hard for me to meet. Other then all the talking I do while I'm working, checking in birds and saling birds through the swap on Saturday.
I would recommend to those who want to go to meet each other and talk to each other to go on Saturday.
#1.) The poultry that is there will be for sale. The Swap. Once it is checked in then, if it has a price on it, it can be bought.
#2.) The hooved animals will all be there and be auctioning. Even if you don't want any of them they are still neat to see. It also means that while talking to each other you won't miss any birds you may want.
#3.) The biggest percentage of the poultry and everything will come in on Saturday and will be bought Saturday.
Other than that. There are some bleachers out where the poultry will be at and you can or are more then welcome to meet up in those bleachers. Kind of out of the way of everything else going on.
As for a time I would recommend if you are coming to buy and look at birds also, then I would want to plan on getting there by 9:00-10:00 to make sure you don't miss out on the birds you want. Then you could meet up and talk around 12:00 - 1:00 or so when people clear out and the auction begins inside.
Just my two cents worth I guess.
Please keep in mind that cages will sell with the birds. No need to bring extra cages. Everything in the cage sells together.
If selling make sure birds that need to be pollurum tested are, there will also be people on hand to do so it just takes longer and you have to wait. Be sure to check the website for cage requirements. We do have regulations we have to follow. State Laws, also for the safety of the animals.
Requirements can be found on the sale terms page of the website.
