Anyone in WV???

Hi there! I have barred rock, rir, americaunas and black copper marans. I truly love my chickens. I was actually a city council member who helped get our chicken ordinance passed! Yeah! So glad to see locals here. We need a club.

Marans are so pretty! I have a huge mix right now... Armand babies, lav orp babies, oh and a good comet /dark Brahma mix too, Dominique babies, bantam Cochin and cochies, ameraucana (at least that's what I was told), polish, blue orp crosses, 3 buff Brahma, and two rescue game Bantams.

Be sure and post some pics when you get a chance Mike. I love BCMs but I don't have room for another breed right now. :(
Congrats on helping with the ordinance too! That's awesome.

My BCMs are only six weeks old and are at my feet right now. Lol. I just love them! The roo has been trying to crow. Poor guy. Lol. He will go live with family when it gets warmer. He can't live in town. Grrr...

Oh I would be smiling a lot if I could have all those chickens! You have quite an assortment there...many I would love to have! I bought my americaunas at Greens feed and seed, so I think they are true and not just easter eggers. They have not stopped laying this winter. I'm pleased with them.

I have a couple more lav orps laying now. How are those babies looking?
What are your blue orps crossed with? I bet those are interesting

Oh really? If you hatch more I'd love to buy some more off you! It's interesting how they're different sizes! I'll send you pictures of the tiny one and big one.

I'm not sure... They look pure to me except one almost tried to have feathers on her feet! I'll get some pictures of them tomorrow. They're BIG birds! I told them if they don't start laying soon, they'll be dinner (they won't but it's irritating they aren't laying and they'd totally feed it's both for a week lol)

I'm totally addicted, it's bad lol I think we're at 32? Or so.... The guy told me they are but I don't really believe people. I think they might actually be. I know there's a way to kind of tell, I just need to actually look at them and then read the articles again. I think these girls got stressed from moving, they aren't laying but hoping they will soon! One of the amerecauna hens is HUGE too! I need to get better pictures of them.
