Anyone in WV???

How broody are they? I think you said they are pretty broody girls.

Three of them hatched broods this year. One is very broody, the other 2 don't seem quite as obsessive. Lol 5 are younger, I think only 1 of the 5 pullets is laying now, possibly 2.

Do you have an idea of the prices for a hen?

Probably around $30 each.

Ok thanks! Will let you all know. The pullets should all be very close to laying any time, although with daylight now, they may wait until spring.

This is the super-broody momma Mocha, and her 2 that hatched Oct 5th. She hatched 3 groups this year.

She is gorgeous! How old is she? I plan on keeping any hens that keep brooding around as long as I can, so if she is a little older, it isn't a problem.

This is momma Mocha with her 2. Broodiest hen I own. lol I got her in April of last year, and she was just laying at that time, but under a year old, so I think she is probably around 2 years old now.
