They are Cayuga/Blue Swedish mix. The incubator is a Farm Innovator with the automatic turner and a fan. So far I am not impressed with this incubator. It was extremely hard to get the temp right. Both thermometers they provided where useless. I'm not sure the hygrometer was accurate either. But I tried to keep the humidity around 55-60. I increased the humidity at hatching to around 65. After the first few had trouble I increased to 75. They still couldn't make it out on their own but it may have been too late. Also I filled the little water wells provided full and that was as high as the humidity would go. Please share about the misting. I am curious to see if that would help. I wrapped the eggs I helped in a wet paper towel and they were able to come out the rest of the way on their own.
